Who runs this
I am a software engineer, and I have spent about twenty years designing automation, infrastructure, and platform tooling for a living. In my day job I use ServiceNow, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Python. Most of it comes down to the art of taking manual processes and automating them.
Off-hours I run a home lab, a 3D printer, and whatever I can self-host, write small apps for an audience of one, and try the newest local models through oMLX, LM Studio, and Ollama. What it adds up to is a slowly growing pile of weird little tools that solve very specific problems for one specific person.

Burghr Bytes is a tech blog covering hardware, software, AI, and gaming. Twenty years of working around this stuff every day has left me with strong opinions about it, and this is where they go.
